UPJ and Western Sydney University Indonesia Collaborate on Pathway Program and Master's Scholarship
Bintaro, South Tangerang, 20/03/2025 - Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) continues to expand international education opportunities for its students by establishing strategic cooperation with Western Sydney University (WSU) Indonesia. This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) which opens a pathway for UPJ students to continue their master's studies at WSU Surabaya campus. In addition, this collaboration also includes scholarship opportunities with funding schemes ranging from 20% to 100% for outstanding students.
In this program, UPJ students can choose three excellent study programs available at WSU Indonesia, namely Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Data Engineering, and Master of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). These programs are designed to equip students with skills and insights that are relevant to current industry needs, especially in the fields of business, data engineering, and information technology.
As a form of flexibility in lectures, WSU Indonesia also provides evening class options. Thus, students can adjust their study schedule with their various academic and professional activities.
UPJ Rector, Ir. Yudi Samyudia, Ph.D., stated that this collaboration is UPJ's concrete step in providing access to global quality education for students.
“We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration. UPJ is committed to continuing to provide the best opportunities for students so that they can develop academic and professional competencies at the global level,” said Yudi Samyudia.
Similarly, Prof. Amir Mahmood, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Provost of WSU Indonesia, emphasized that this collaboration is part of WSU's commitment to expanding access to quality higher education in Indonesia.
“We are very pleased to partner with UPJ in presenting this pathway program. With the support of competitive scholarships, we hope that more talented students from UPJ can join and become excellent professionals in their fields,” said Prof. Amir Mahmood.
This collaboration is expected to open more opportunities for UPJ students to achieve international education with adequate financial support. More information about this pathway and scholarship program can be accessed through the official websites of UPJ and WSU Indonesia.
