“Violence In Dating” Workshop with Yayasan Pulih

Wednesday, February 25, 2015, The Psychology Program of UPJ cooperated with Pulih Foundation by held a one-day workshop entitled "Violence in Dating." The purpose of this workshop is basically are two, the first is to provide knowledge and increase awareness to the youth group and young adults on issues related to violence in dating. The second goal is to give you skills to trained and develop public awareness campaigns related to prevent violence in dating .

During the first session, facilitators from the Pulih Foundation, Invited the participants to discussed the following topics: myths and facts in a dating relationship, the characteristics of healthy or unhealthy relationship , the forms of violence in dating, the effects of violence in dating, how to help and support the victims of violence, and what efforts to prevent violence in dating. Meanwhile in the second session, participants also learn the steps and strategies in developing campaign materials for targets and  the prevention and action to stop  violence in dating relationships.

The participants were involved in this activity consists of psychology students of University of Pembangunan Jaya. And also  representatives of  Yadika high school students. And the facilitator of the Pulih Foundation that facilitate these activities include: Irma S Martam, Mohammed Rezky, Charlie Chris Evans, Deceiria Sinaga, Noridha Weningsari, Siska Christanty, Aenea Marella, Aditya Pratama, Bagia A. Saputra, Reneta Christian, Fauzan Zailani and Jane Luvena.
