Public Lecture with Prof. Dr Sarlito Wirawan Sarwono
Psychology program of the University of Pembangunan Jaya at Monday, February 16, 2015 held a public lecture entitled "Healthy Relationships In Teens”. Generally the purpose of this event is to provide knowledge and awareness to youth, especially at high school students and college students of the University Of Pembangunan Jaya about the importance of a more positive relationships, both with friends, teachers and parents to achieve personal growth and development healthier. This event also discussed the typical characteristics of adolescents, tantantan-challenges faced by young people in the age of globalization due to the shifting norms and culture, as well as the risks and exploitation that will be experienced by young people when they are less critical of the various sources of information currently widely available in a variety of media. As a speaker at the public lecture, Prof. Dr. Sarlito Wirawan Sarwono also provide practical tips for participants in dealing with various problems in daily life as well as offering a solution how to establish healthy relationships with peers or develop positive relationships with teachers and parents. The event, which lasted for nearly three hours, was attended by the chancellor of the UPJ, UPJ Psychology program students, students of SMAN 2 South Tangerang, SMAN 5 South Tangerang, High School May 2, SMA Al-Mubaroq, SMK Information Chester and the teaching staff in the UPJ.
