UPJ Won Three Awards at the 2024 Diktiristek Partnership Award from LLDIKTI Region IV

Bintaro, South Tangerang, 01/11/2024 - Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) recorded a brilliant achievement by winning three awards in the 2024 Diktiristek Partnership Award (AKD) organized by the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region IV. This award was given in recognition of the best private campus partnership in West Java and Banten. UPJ won 3 awards in 3 categories; 1st place in partnership with government and NGOs, 3rd place in partnership with international partners, and 4th place in partnership with industrial partners.   

The award ceremony took place in Bandung on October 29-30, 2024, and became a momentum for UPJ to emphasize its role as a campus that actively establishes strategic partnerships in supporting the advancement of higher education. UPJ achieving the Award rank is also proof of UPJ's commitment in providing inclusive and high-standard education services, in line with efforts to equalize the quality of education in the region.  

UPJ Rector, Ir. Yudi Samyudia, Ph.D. expressed his pride for this achievement. “This award is not only an achievement for UPJ, but also a motivation to continue to improve the quality of partnership in various sectors, both at the local, national and international levels. We will continue to optimize UPJ's role in building partnerships that have a positive impact on students and society,” he said.  

In the category of partnership with government and NGOs, UPJ was awarded for its participation in capacity building and regional development programs. In the category of partnership with international partners, UPJ was recognized for its efforts in strengthening global collaborations involving UPJ students and lecturers, such as joint research, and curriculum development with foreign universities. While in the category of partnership with industrial partners, the award was given as an appreciation for UPJ's efforts in bridging the world of education and the industrial world through an internship program better known as the Jaya Internship Program, public lectures, and applied research with partner companies.  

The AKD LLDIKTI IV 2024 activity aims to appreciate universities in the West Java and Banten regions that actively establish quality partnership with various parties, in accordance with the vision of LLDIKTI Region IV in supporting the improvement of higher education services. In a series of events, technical guidance and award certificates were also held as part of strengthening synergy between universities in LLDIKTI Region IV.  

Through this award, UPJ hopes to further expand the network of partnership and strengthen the commitment to continue to innovate and make a real contribution to the world of education. With a focus on strategic partnerships, UPJ is ready to face the increasingly complex challenges of higher education in the future.
