High School students Joined Learn to Design Building Structure

Wednesday, October 28, 2015, UPJ Civil Engineering organized the event "Design Building Structure" in Fat Bubble Bintaro Sector 7. The event, which took place at 16:00 pm was attended by about 60 high school students.

The event began with remarks from the Head of the Civil Engineering Program, Ferdinand Fassa, ST., MT. followed by testimonials by representatives of civil Engineering students are Paksi (FY 2012) and Iga (FY 2013). Paksi reveals his impressions during his live lectures in the course of civil engineering "Although the civil engineering sciences is not easy, but a lot of the knowledge gained here. We made frequent visits to the field, it's fun. "Paksi said. Iga also added "We often conduct field visits and I am very happy when visiting Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, because there we see the reclamation project. We studied the case, see the necessary equipment and the process of development ".

The event continued with the introduction of Civil Engineering Students Association by Lovi (FY 2013). Lovi who currently holds the position as chairman of the Civil Engineering HIMA explained the sense, the potential benefits and activities that have been organized. "UPJCivil Engineering Week and Basic Leadership Training is one of the activities that have been implemented by  HIMA of Civil Engineering" he explained. To explain about one of the subjects to be studied by students of Civil Engineering, then Dimas (FY 2013) shows the work of engineering courses made using Autocad software. Enthusiastic participants followed the game more visible when designing building structures using Uno Stacko. The event was closed with a group photo and suave among parcitipants.
