New Students Of UPJ 2015/2016 Parcitipated on PRIMA 17-18 September 2015
UPJ held Student Orientation Program (PRIMA) on 17 to 18 September 2015. The event was held at the new UPJ campus and attended by hundreds of new students FY 2015/2016. PRIMA initiated activities, there are two important points to be submitted to the new students namely, Respect and Professionalism. According to Dimas Harsono, the Leader of the event PRIMA 2015, these two values have meaning, namely: building a new way of thinking Respect, so that new students have an attitude, a way of thinking or see (a certain way) that everyone or everything in their environment is important and should be treated in an appropriate manner. While building a professional character, so that new students have the purpose and quality that characterize the professional as well as the skills, ability to make good decisions, and polite behavior.
During two days of orientation, there is a diverse set of activities undertaken. On the first day, Mr. Ir. Edmund Sutisna, MBA as President of the University Building Jaya gave a speech to new students followed by a speech by Ms. Leenawati Limantara, Ph.D as Rector UPJ. In her speech, Mrs. Shinta had suggested several advantages UPJ such as: Jaya Student Development Program (leadership, character building), curriculum (open to all, dual degree, LSE, training and certification), Life Laboratory in the industry (23 companies group Jaya, PEMDA DKI, partner), Work Profession & Guaranteed Empoyment for outstanding students. Does not end there, the event-was followed by the introduction of lecturers and senior to the new students, a briefing by each study program, the introduction of the course, the introduction of SMEs in UPJ, outdoor activities, games, sports in the morning and more , This orientation activities made as attractive as possible be fun, not tense, and much of the bullying.
