The University Of Pembangunan Jaya First Graduates

The University Of Pembangunan Jaya  held  the fourth anniversary and a very first  graduation ceremony on Thursday, September 3, 2015

UPJ  held  the fourth anniversary and a very first  graduation ceremony on Thursday, September 3, 2015, with the theme of Bring Jaya’s People to Build Our State. The event was held at the Global Theatre Building Jaya School it was about 2 hours and started at 09.30 pm. The Open Session of University Senate of Pembangunan Jaya attended by Dr. (HC) Ir. Ciputra Educational Foundation Trustees as Chairman Jaya governor of the National Resilience Institute (National Resilience Institute) Budi Susilo Soepandji, as well as the Coordinator Kopertis Region IV Abdul Hakim Halim.

In a scientific oration, National Resilience Institute Governor Budi Susilo Soepandji explained the importance of mental revolution within ourselves. According to him, the character development is a necessity. College is the highest chain of character formation. '' So, smart is not enough. However, communication, respect each other, and interaction must also be improved, '' he said. UPJ Rector Prof. Ir. Gunawan Tjahjono, Ph.D., M.Arch said that, since its establishment in 2011, now has ten UPJ accredited programs. One system applied learning, he continued, is a liberal art. Ie, changing the system of teaching to learning and teaching center of lecturers to students.

He said he was committed to equip students to be able to face the global world. '' Because, they (students) would be the pioneer pioneering advancement of the nation, '' he said. Jaya Education Foundation Trustees Chairman Dr. (HC) Ir. Ciputra asserted, Jaya’s People are a man who has three things. Namely, integrity, professionalism and entrepreneurship. '' There are a spiritual character, intellectual quotient and emotional quotient, '' he explained. According to him, integrity, professionalism and entrepreneurship are things that can not be separated. Integrity, he added, is useless without the professionalism and entrepreneurship. '' Nothing that could harm the integrity, '' he said. Ciputra also have ideals different from the majority of people. She wants to have the entrepreneurial spirit. Namely, creating something new.

At this first graduation, UPJ has graduated 34 scholars are readily absorbed by the industry and some of them have passed the selection to work on under the auspices of the Jaya’s Groups Company.
