Building a Future Family with UPJ

The University Of Pembangunan Jaya held a parents gathering with the theme "Building a Future Family With UPJ"

In order to prepare graduates who are ready to compete in the world of work, UPJ as a college founded by PT Pembangunan Jaya held a parents gathering with the theme "Building a Future Family With UPJ". The event was held in the auditorium of the UPJ on Saturday, August 8th, 2015. The event attended by the parents and students who are already enrolled at UPJ and have interest to study at UPJ.

Dr. Ir. Sunar Wahid, MS as bureau chief academic UPJ was coming to give his opening speech. He was  explaining the advantages of academic education as well as programs implemented UPJ order to create graduates who can compete in the world of work later, like Jaya Student Development program (JSDP).

The event was followed by an explanation of the PT Jaya Construction Mangala Pratama, Tbk. Mr. Ivan Satyahadiarta as the Manager of Human Resources and General appeared as a speaker. In his explanation, Mr. Ivan tells about his experience receiving UPJ students for internships at PT Jaya Construction Mangala Pratama, Tbk. "If we look at the ability of the student during the internship time, of course, we did not hesitate to immediately proceed to the recruitment process" he said. Mental importance to not give up and active, does not work only on orders is important for employees to improve his career. "One of the barriers of young age employees  to develop a career is not able to overcome the boredom so they always moving work. We can not always move our career path every month  if we want our  job matter ". He said.

Following a series of events, Riama Simorangkir as chairman of the new admissions FY 2015/2016 explains the UPJ cooperation and PT Building Jaya Group. In her presentation she  explained that the UPJ cooperation with PT Building Jaya Group encompasses a living laboratory program, namely learning programs students can do a field visit and use the facilities in the company to support the learning system. "Students are not just learning in the classroom, but they also can see straight into the ground". She explained. The next cooperation in the field of research and community service, internships, exchange of appropriate sources of competence, and the opportunity to work in the company - company PT Jaya Development Group. After explaining about the form kerjsama UPJ and PT Building Jaya Group, Riama also explained about the scholarship program "If the father and mother who want to enroll their children in UPJ, we still have a lot of scholarships. One of these scholarships based on the ranking report, the average report cards and entrance exam ".

The event closed with a hospitality and talked about college life at UPJ
